Onthank Primary Parent Teachers' Association

Thank you to all who came to the bingo. A huge thank you to all who donated items for prizes.

Scott Thomson did a brilliant job as bingo caller!

At Onthank Primary School we have a friendly Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which plays a valuable role in the life of the school, not only through fundraising but also by making it possible for parents to socialise with each other and become more involved in our school community.

All parents, carers and teachers of children at Onthank Primary School are welcome as members and we urge you to play an active part in supporting it. Most of our events are fundraising and others are just for fun but both are a vital part of bringing together the people involved in the life of your child at school.

We are always looking for help at our events throughout the year and we would welcome and appreciate those that just want to help occasionally and those that would like to be a part of the committee.

If you are able to offer time, expertise or just enthusiasm we would love to hear from you! Even if you are not sure how you might contribute but you are interested, come along to a meeting. Details of meetings and events are shared via the School Newsletters or come and “Like” us on Facebook.

How the PTA raise money

Over the past few years our PTA has raised thousands of pounds which has been spent on a wide variety of projects – like new sports equipment and clothing for our sports teams, craft equipment or materials to support the school curriculum and digital cameras to allow us to promote the creativity of our children through the various school mediums.

The majority of our funds are raised through PTA events.

Everyone is welcome!

 Thank you
